Over decades now Annie Lytle sat vacant with its front doors gone inviting what seemed to be such a warm welcome to unwanted visitors, today the Annie Lytle Preservation Group changed that! A single solid-wood door has been added to the opening front entrance to the school. This completes the 1st phase of getting the whole front entrance fully equipped with a set of double doors and with hard work we will get it done! Patsy also continued to spray the school down with weed killer to try and get the rest of the vegetation to die off! Tim used a leaf blower to clean the hallways throughout the school and ended up with great results! Today, our little team of 6 came to the school with permission to clean up after the mess made from the car accident on Thursday and that's exactly what we did! Hours of hard work in the sun of hauling concrete chunks and tons and tons of trash to the curb we manage to make the school look a lot better! We also secured the front entrance way off. Lots of work was done today! Before and Afters:Other Photos from Today: |
